star

among the tears we’ll
find a smile, recalling
you were in our sky.

The day our Star fell,
the next brightest was hardly
fit to keep us warm.

Of course, qazse. Click here and you’ll find a little bit more explanation and links to other tributes.

Wow. As you said in your tribute comment – a greater loss if one never got around to knowing her.

I am impressed by her involvement in the Philly community and its’ blogging community specifically. She was a prime mover and will continue to influence the movement of others and their ideas…

I am always impressed by the level of regard people I have met from Philadelphia have for it. One of my daughters lived there and my brother has for decades.I had spent a couple weeks in NE near Rising Sun doing some consulting. I love it too. There is probably no better remembrance to Star than continuing to tell the Philly story.

Thanks for sharing. Let me know if you Philly bloggers ever get together for a beer, I am 2 hrs up the NE extension.

– sounds like you’re in Dunder-Mifflin territory. a bunch of us Philly bloggers get together the third Saturday of each month, for food, drink and a ton of conversation. the next scheduled meetup is this Saturday at a place called the Ten Stone (2063 South St). I’m sure you’d be welcome to join any of the upcoming meetups.

I graduated from the University of Scranton. My wife and son(16)do not miss an episode. My favorite was an early one – the company basketball game.

thanks for letting me invite myself. I cannot make it this Saturday but please keep me posted, I’d love to meet up with other bloggers. I feel a bit isolated up here.

Thanks again Howard,

Herb
