Apparently, I’ve been blocked…

and I find that information strangely comforting.

Hmm funny, mine wasn’t. Maybe that’s just due to lack of posting activity.

I think all free blog hosts were blocked in China (at least they were a couple years ago) – making it much harder for people to set up semi-anonymous ways to criticize the Chinese government.

As for why I might have been blocked, I did once link to a Chinese cyberdissident. Then there was this haiku from last September. But it could also be a case of mistaken identity.

I’m not blocked either. One day when I’m sufficiently bored, I may play trial and error and find out why

I’m not blocked either. I guess my stories of food and self revelation aren’t subversive enough.

Marisa – while I can think of a couple of times you mentioned specific topics folks could want to ban, even your approach to them was fairly peaceable. The way you approach life/view life is just so positive I cannot fathom anyone in their right mind finding that banning it would be worth the cost of losing that world view.
