Monday morning couplet

Tired weekends wilt to the pressure of Monday’s dawn.
Always wish they’d hold out, but the pattern trudges on.

Times of leisure lack the backbone to undo
the evil spell of this day we’re dumped into.

Even the laziest weekend is often better than the average Monday, isn’t it?

well, since I no longer punch a time card, my monday’s could easily be taken for a weekend day… I was doing some work this past week on comparing and noticed for myself how it does not help me to do it as it keeps me in a dualistic place. It requires me to believe/think that something is better or worse. When this thinking is applied to people, the result is separation and then I see that it always results in separation. No win. Love to visit your site! And you are right. It does seem to be true that the laziest weekend is better than an average Monday … until I look into it and see what this belief of mine is really requiring of me.
