Monday’s lyric
Well, her lips were red and her hair was brown;
we were feeling like the luckiest kids in town.
She said, “I’ll follow you, boy, to the ends of the earth.”
I said, “I’m not going that far, for what it’s worth.”

Well, her lips were red and her hair was brown;
we were feeling like the luckiest kids in town.
She said, “I’ll follow you, boy, to the ends of the earth.”
I said, “I’m not going that far, for what it’s worth.”
Wow, that’s powerful stuff. Man…for what that’s worth.
I’ve always liked that snippet. It resonates for some reason.
