Waterways
This afternoon I stopped off at two separate sites on my way home. One was the walking path adjacent to the Calhoun Street Bridge in Morrisville, PA. The other was the section of the Delaware Canal State Park off of Black Rock Road in Lower Makefield.
I enjoyed a nice little walk on the canal towpath, where many waterfowl desperately avoided me (as usual). I must have traveled that stretch of Black Rock Road, I don’t know, a hundred or so times in my life. Yet I’ve never stopped at that particular portion of the canal state park. I have, however, taken numerous bike rides on the canal path from around Washington’s Crossing up to New Hope. I haven’t taken it since the last major flooding last year, so I don’t know how it is now, but it was always a nice, scenic ride.
Of the photos I took, about 15 appear on my flickr account.
