Tee-hee, ha-ha, whatever doesn’t kill you, etc.

Life is suffering. Apparently that’s one of Buddhism’s Four Noble Truths, though to many, it’s just every day life. At the same time, suffering is often integral to human growth. It does make you stronger, that is, unless it simply overcomes you.

The last week has been particularly distracting and stressful for a variety of reasons, but in all honesty, one particular reason seems to weigh more heavily. In the best case, it will continue to weigh on my mind for at least the next five or six days. In the worst case… well, I won’t get into that quite yet—cross the bridge when you get to it and all that stuff.

On the plus side, my broadband is finally back. Provided I get to stick around and enjoy it, that’s kind of a relief.

I’ll be hoping for the best for you.

Things that help me include retail therapy (unfortunately, that’s been a little too active for me lately) and aggression therapy where I watch/listen to someone like Sam Kinison for awhile (right now I’m reading a Bill Hicks book, which is making me chant “must kill users” a little more softly).

I always liked Stevie Wonder’s I Ain’t Gonna Stand for It. And if that didn’t work, I’m a big fan of Breyer’s Vanilla.
