BlobFest 2006
As I wrote somewhere else, today and tomorrow mark the annual celebration of Steve McQueen’s first starring movie role (and a cute little theme song co-written by Burt Bacharach). For those reasons and more, BlobFest is a pretty cool option for people in my home region this weekend.
My love for The Blob predates any awareness of its local ties (or McQueen or Bacharach, for that matter), which makes me more deeply regret my lack of availability for the festivities this year. Maybe in ‘07?
