Friday random ten
(the hours are pretty bad)

Less clutter this week (skipped the lyric snippets), but each linked song title leads to a somewhat appropriate YouTube video:

1. Such Great Heights – Iron & Wine
2. Magnolia Mountain – Ryan Adams & the Cardinals
3. Wrap Your Arms around Me – Barenaked Ladies
4. Golden – Switchfoot
5. Hackensack – Fountains of Wayne
6. California – Semisonic
7. Throw It All away – Toad the Wet Sprocket
8. Resplendent – Vigilantes of Love
9. Baby Hold on – Dixie Chicks
10. Soldier’s Daughter – Tonic

Other spinning fools: Ben, Brian, Ellen, Fred, Jess, Kim, Marisa, Matt

I’m sensing something in that last comment; sarcasm, perhaps? Okay, here’s an abbreviated list for you:

  • Favorite: 3
  • Least: 9
  • Seen live: 5, 7, 8 & 10
  • Most worthwhile song to click for its YouTube video: 8

There – happy?

H – You’re making me cry with the youtubes – I still can’t figure out my sound problem. That’s WITH the new sound card installed (AND new speakers).

I don’t know how many of the folks reading this are/have been metalheads, but I’m sorry to say I’ve never been myself. Though there have been a few scattered artists or albums that I’ve liked that might have been classified in that genre.

Speaking of which, why don’t you post a random ten list once in a while?

I don’t ever post lists, memes, etc; it’s not that kinda blog. I wouldn’t even qualify for this one, as I own neither an iPod nor any other mp3 player, and my CD player only holds 1 CD… I’ve got nothing to “shuffle.”

No music on your computer? That’s what I usually run mine from. But if you’re just not into that kind of socializing, that’s fine I guess.
